photography /
sculpture, or images (construction of a digital sculpture around a
photograph) variable dimensions and supports
I took thousands
of photographs that I kept in my hard drives, and I started to use them
as a basis for making compositions.
Through this
series of images sent on social networks, the aim is to exploit the
narrative potential of a recovered photograph, and to translate it into
abstract sculptures that come to dialogue with it. Placing these
photographs in a sculptural context where what they represent would
come face to face with a certain formal essence. As if trying to think
plastically about what a contemporary image is, namely an image that is
reproducible and part of the digital fow, visible on different media.
While also trying to use the affectlinked to the photography found to
achieve my composition.
